# GIX solutions

GIX sells **dark fiber**: the glass itself, by IRU or lease. You light it with your own equipment and run your network your way. We are a carrier's carrier: we don't sell lit capacity, managed services, or colocation.

## What you get

- Dedicated fiber between 165 Halsey Street (Newark) and 60 Hudson Street (Manhattan), or any segment of the route
- The lowest-latency path between those two buildings: 88,883 ns one-way optical fiber latency
- Handoff in the 165 Halsey meet-me room (MMR 2) and on GIX's own riser in 60 Hudson
- A physically separate crossing of the Hudson, inside PATH Tunnel F

## How we deliver

1. You send the A and Z ends, fiber count, and timing.
2. We confirm the route and share detailed maps.
3. We splice and test the fiber before handoff. Each quote includes an installation estimate.

## Ways to buy

- **IRU:** a long-term right to use the fiber.
- **Lease:** fiber leased from GIX.

We quote the term and price for each route. Pricing is not published.
